Roy Peratrovich (D) Klawock. The signing of the Anti-Discrimination Bill which was passed by the 1945 Territorial Legislature. This Bill was supported by the Alaska Native Brotherhood and Alaska Native Sisterhood. These organizations carried the fight over a 2 year period to a successful conclusion.
