Name of creator(s): Lowell Thomas, Jr.

Administrative/Biographical History:
Lowell Jackson Thomas, Jr. (born October 6, 1923), son of reporter and author Lowell Thomas,
is an author, film maker, pilot, and politician. He was an Alaskan State Senator (1967-1974)
before becoming Lieutenant Governor of Alaska (1974–1978). In the 1980s, he owned and
operated Talkeetna Air Taxi, an Alaska bush flying service.

Scope and Content Description:
The collection consists of four color photographs related to Lowell Thomas Jr. and his
Talkeetna Air Taxi service, including images of Thomas and Vern Tejas.
