Administrative/Biographical History:
Percy Jasper Wetherbee was born to Guy Victor and Buena Minto (or Mento) Wetherbee in
Grants Pass, OR, on August 4, 1921. Buena‘s half-brother, Frank Minto, participated in the
1898 Alaska gold rush. Frank Minto married Mabel Burke while in Alaska.

Scope and Content Description:
The collection consists of 33 photographs mounted on card stock, depicting Alaskan towns and
mining operations in Alaska and Yukon.
