Administrative/Biographical History:
Frederick Young was a crewmember of the U.S. Revenue Cutter Bear, which patrolled Alaskan
waters from 1885 to 1926.

Scope and Content Description:
The collection consists of 14 black-and-white photographs taken by Lt. Frederick Young during
his tour aboard the US Revenue Cutter Bear circa 1908. For more information, see Detailed
