Photo List

The Bowra collection consists of photographs of both Alaskan scenes and British
Columbia scenes. Alaskan scenes include photographs of Ketchikan, Kassan, Wrangell,
Metlakatla, Taku Glacier, Treadwell Mine, Gastineau Channel, Skagway, Muir Glacier,
and Sitka. Also in the collection are photographs of various scenes from Vancouver,
British Columbia. Dates of the Alaskan scenes include 1886 and 1908. The collection is
housed in the photo file collection and organized by subjects. The subjects are Alaska
(general). British Columbia, Cordova, Eskimos - Alaska, Glaciers - Alaska, Juneau,
Petersburg, Sitka, Sitka - St. Michael’s Cathedral, Skagway, Unidentified, White Horse,
Yukon Territory, White Pass and Yukon Railroad, and Wrangell. Please see photo list
