Scope and Contents

The Cole collection consists of photographs and postcards of Broadway &
McKinley Street in Valdez, the Chief of Little Diomede Islands and his family, Dawson
City, Eskimos, Fort Gibbon, St. Michael’s Church, Mendenhall Glacier, Mrs. Lee
Reese’s dog team on Goose Lake, Ogmaona at Nome, Unalaska scenes, Anvik, and
Shishaldin Volcano. Photographers of the collection include Kenneth A. Almy, Howard
C. Robinson, and F.H. Nowell. Please see photo list for specific photograph information.
