Scope and Contents

The Neilsen collection consists of photographs of the Neilsen home and friends
and Anchorage scenes. Subjects included in the collection are the 1916 Alaska Labor
Union Socialists and Pioneers, a dog sled with a gasoline engine, George Ahgupuk, Oscar
Neilsen, Sunbeam Homestead, and Second and Fourth Avenue of Anchorage.
Photographers of the collection include McGuin and the Strye Photo shop. Please see
