John Ransum was a cab driver for the Alaska Cab Company in Anchorage, AK, in 2003-2004.
He was interested in recording information about the city’s historic buildings, particularly those
relating to cab services, night spots, Spenard, and downtown Anchorage.

Scope and Content Description:
The collection consists of 35 color prints and 45 35 mm negative images of Anchorage, AK,
taken in 2003 and 2004.
