George Sullivan was Mayor of the City of Anchorage from 1967-1975. When the City
and Borough unified in September 1975, Sullivan continued as Mayor of the
Municipality of Anchorage until 1981.

Scope and content description:
The collection consists of black-and-white photographic prints, 35mm black-and-white
negatives, color photographic prints, and 35mm color slides. Most photos are of Sullivan
at official functions such as speeches, presentations, parties, and ground-breaking events.
