Administrative/Biographical History:
James and Elizabeth Barnet lived in Anchorage, Alaska, during the period 1916-1918.
Elizabeth was born June 1, 1885, and died August 1971 in Seattle, Washington. James was born
March 1, 1887, and died in July 1974, also in Seattle.

Scope and Content Description:
The collection includes 20 black-and-white photographs of scenes primarily in Anchorage,
Alaska. There are also images of Chickaloon and ―Lover’s Lane‖ in Sitka, Alaska.

Donated to the Cook Inlet Historical Society by Mrs. James (Elizabeth) Barnet. Transferred
from CIHS to Anchorage Museum in July 1963.
